Creative Workshops

Creative Planner Stamping for Dummies by Loti Fuster-Bradley

Together we will take a blank planner spread (a made up paper one, not your own planner don’t worry!) and make it into something beautiful with the help of stamps and inks. You’ll be learning stamping basics, tips on non smudging, non bleeding and some techniques and tricks you can transfer into other paper crafting if you like!

Loti owns Mama Makes, a store that sells stamps she designs and makes in her home. She has been creative ever since she was a small girl watching Art Attack in her bedroom! This passion evolved over the years and was reignited when she was on maternity leave with her son, Charlie and found herself watching craft shopping television. She then went onto work in craft shopping television and one day was offered something she couldn’t refuse, a chance to make her doodles, into photopolymer stamps, to sell. The rest is history! On Mother’s Day 2017, Mama Makes opened as a store selling Loti’s designs as photopolymer stamps. You might have seen the stamps as part of Katie Skilton and Paula Pascual’s demos on Hochanda or maybe in Papercrafter and Die Cutting Essentials magazine! Loti lives with her husband Esteban and son Charlie. All of the stamps are made in A grade 3mm photopolymer and are hand poured and packaged by Loti and her husband in their home. Loti designs all of the stamps digitally and takes time to think of quirky sentiments for all occasions. Some of Loti’s sentiments are words she wrote down to motivate herself through tough times and she hopes to help and inspire others by making them available as stamps.

You can find more on Loti and the products she sells on her website: or Mama Makes Store on Etsy.

Hand Lettering Basics by So Joey!

Hello! I am Joey – a lettering enthusiast who spends her time journalling, writing letters and trying to be creative in every moment I get. I’ve always been a bit obsessed with lettering and signage. At school I would concentrate my art projects on words and I’ve been taking photos of signs since I was little. I always find it interesting and nothing gets me as excited as hand painted signs. Maybe it’s the time it takes, or the precision and skill needed but I find it all so beautiful. Only fairly recently, I decided that I would try to hone my skills and be the best that I can be at brush lettering. Over the past year, I have improved so much and have created a lettering guide and held several workshops too. This year I hope to get even better and have been working on improving different lettering styles too.

In this workshop we will cover what hand lettering is all about.

We will learn the basics of lettering, learn how to create different lettering styles and how to place them.
